Every team has maps on which they perform well, and there are those on which they play poorly. But in the case of Natus Vincere, the focus is slightly shifted: to call NaVi’s Dust_2 weak would not turn the tongue, despite the win rate of 66%. And on the Ancient map, the team looks a little confused and strange. In short, there is no "fire in the eyes" and team play. But I think they will catch up and be prepared for any situation.
Denis electroNic Sharipov is a new captain. For donkey's time, NaVi waited for such captain that could coordinate the whole roster. For the last 3 months, Denis Sharipov was able to raise his stats (from 1.08 to 1.13 rating of 2.0). Therefore, NaVi’s cohesion and sudden actions in the middle of the round are Denis' responsibility right now.
Thanks to the Natus Vincere, Viktor sdy Orudzhev can gain the experience he needs to play at the professional level. Viktor plays well, and sometimes he has more frags than s1mple, that shows - sdy knows what to do and does it. It's like an additional step for sdy and the rest of the team, and NaVi’s coach Andrey B1ad3 Gorodenskiy actively supports such morale.
It can be seen that the team is progressing with each tournament, and at the IEM Rio Major, players in “yellow uniforms”, should show a lot of interesting rounds. This does not mean that Ukrainians have abandoned the training pool and the old strategies. It's just that these Natus Vincere players are very difficult to catch up with in tactical potential. It is even more difficult if you take into account the initial game plan of the team - they set the fashion for at least a year.
NaVi no longer looks like a team that is able to relax at a crucial moment - for example, to underestimate the opponent or the situation on the map. Usually, s1mple and electronic have stumbled to do it again. The guys know that Major does not forgive mistakes: even in the last 4 vs. 1 round, the team plays with maximum concentration. It's also hard to imagine that Ukrainians worry more than anyone else before the playoffs. Yes, the players carry a lot of responsibility, but the guys are true professionals who have done a tremendous job with the coaching staff and psychologist. It's not the first or tenth time they've played on the Major stage.
I would like to see NaVi victory at the IEM Rio Major 2022 when sdy lifts the cup above his head, and the unreal emotions he will feel are simply impossible to convey in words, it must be felt. And most importantly, the team will understand that they have found the right player, and with him, they can win more.
