Last spring, Robin «flusha» Rönnquist, and Miikka «sunny» Kemppi assembled a stack of free players, but since then, a lot has changed. From that time, the team failed to qualify for any major tournaments and achieve any success. «Flusha» left the squad in December of that year, and the Finnish player was the last on the original roster.
Current roster
According to available information, manage the team will be two people - the in-game leader and the captain was appointed Matthias «MSL» Lauridsen, and coach these «veterans» will be Ukrainian coach Sergei «lmbt» Bezhanov. And «Mousesports» is represented by three members. We already mentioned the coach «lmbt», but another return to the competitive scene was marked by Tomasz «oskar» Stastny. The third MS player was the same «sunny» with whom «mouses» successfully spent this season, including a victory at ESL One New York. It is important not to ignore the participation in the team of former NA player Mathias «MSL» Lauridsen.
Another two members of the squad are 20-year-old Estonian Anton «supra» Chernobay, who has been associated with Gambit Youngsters for a long time, and Magnus «Nodios» Olsen, who has played in several Danish organizations - AGF and Copenhagen Flames. Therefore, we can say that the team is quite serious about winning international tournaments. Almost all players in the squad had a professional contract at least one year ago, so they will be given special attention.
Tournaments results
The main focus of the new team will be «MSL», who, after leaving «North» a year and a half ago, failed to find himself. He will be assisted by the experienced AWP player «oskar», who left «SINNERS» at the beginning of the year to lead the «Tokyo Revengers» to the top. The roster has been playing and training together for some time, and according to the press release, the team is now going to bootcamp to prepare for the new season, in which they hope to improve their previous results, with their first goal - being focus on upcoming tournaments and qualifying for the TIER-1 leagues. As the roster is mostly made up of older players, the key focus will be on the experience of the team members rather than on the improvisation of the «young blood».
Criticism
Cybersports community reacted positively to the creation of a new squad, but the team was already on the edge of conflict.
Dust2.us editor Jeffrey «Mnmzzz» Moore tweeted that the team could have used a free template from the stock service «Shutterstock» as the basis for the logo. The only difference turned out to be the color and the lettering separating the logo. The journalist noted that the club could use the layout if it had received the necessary rights from Shutterstock.
At the same time, Moore criticized the organization for choosing a publicly available image that other companies could choose. He called this approach to brand identity formation wrong, especially considering that «TITANS» wants to become one of the leading eSports teams. Furthermore, «Mnmzzz» believes it raises questions about the legitimacy of the organization, about which almost nothing is known a year after its creation. Anyway, we wish the success of the new team in the upcoming qualifications and tournaments and keep watching the development of this organization.
