What happened in the group stage?

Vitality was a reasonably even competitive match. The match against NIP had a strange format that is not found in other tournaments. You play the last match, and they mentally tell you that you have already gone further. Because of this, assertiveness and activity in the game disappear
Which player was the fastest to adapt to the new captain?
After the captain left, we were in a turbulent mode. We had to find the right solution in the shortest possible time. We had tournaments ahead, Lisbon and Cologne. We did not make global changes. The problem is that after the holidays, we didn't come back with the team we were before the holiday. Going into details, we talked to the team about the problems, but it's something you can only talk about in public. But the fact is that after the holiday, a completely different team returned
After the avoidance of Boombl4, the team could look more stable. You can see it in the game. The departure of the captain entails a significant change. On May 28, NaVi management announced the departure of the team captain. This was explained by his inappropriate behavior and reputation of Cyril. Boombl4 has been playing for NaVi since May 2019. I think it's hard for him, at least because a completely different team returned from vacation, and if he had one picture in his head that was in Cologne, then after that, a lot of things changed, and the picture in Denis's head collapsed. That was the main difficulty, and from "There is instability for that. He reacts to some game flaw and often doesn't expect it. He is discouraged by unexpected mistakes by the team. And there, the results of NaVi were too unstable, so the players were constantly criticized. And sometimes, they needed to understand their decisions: during the ESL Pro League Season 13, it turned out that on some maps, it was not Boombl4 who was the captain, but electroNic.
After the events that took place, NaVi was left without a captain. It is almost impossible to find an equivalent replacement: there are no skilled and experienced in-game leaders in Eastern Europe. On May 14, s1mple announced during a press conference that Denis electroNic Sharipov would be the new captain.
Everyone noticed that the role of captain electroNic still needs to perform professionally. All analysts are inclined to believe that the player needs experience and time to begin to feel his new role in the team. It was noticeable how in the first matches of Navi with the new captain, some difficult decisions were made not by electroNic, but by s1mple. s1mple does not pretend to be the captain, and everyone understands why.
Alexander's style of play will not allow him to play the role of captain - a player who has to analyze more and more other players and play more for the team rather than himself.
