“No carry” Dota or what is the importance of pos-1 role
It’s a good idea to reduce the number of players in the Dire or Radiant team by getting rid of the “carry” role, and thus reduce the team's dependence on the most toxic “high-skill” player. However, all this looks like a good solution until you realize it in practice. Dota 2 is not about fast “button pushers” and massive electric 5x5 team fights. This is a strategy where the central aspect for winning is the game economy, from which players are required to build their role profitability. That is why you can’t win a match without distributing the game resources (gold, farm, space, and experience) correctly.
