On November 30th, 2024, fans looked back at Cloud9’s performance at the RMR while many doubted their ability to even qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major. The team had genuine struggles up to the RMR, prompting them to implement equally drastic changes, notably changing Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko’s role on the roster. HeavyGod was known for being a good hard anchor during his time on OG, but Cloud9 decided to have him play as an aggressive star rifler.

Despite the role change, HeavyGod played an enormous role in qualifying his team for the Shanghai Major, overall being the fifth-highest-rated player at the Europe RMR. With that said, Captain Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov has been singing praises of the Israeli and hopes for a good showing at Shanghai Major.

What did C9’s IGL say?

Cloud9’s IGL has been fairly transparent about the struggles his team faced early on, as well as the talk went into addressing it, and how the team’s doing right now.

When asked about the problems that plagued the team some months ago, Krill said: “I think it's everyone coming from different schools, different teams, and it was a really hard three months to know each other. Of course we were thinking about the first Major, and this was the main goal, but our online results were not the best. Our main goal was Thunderpick as well, but we didn't qualify and it was really bad, really bad feelings in the atmosphere of the team. But after we qualified for the Major in the RMR, we feel more confident right now, and I think we can show good CS tomorrow.”

When asked about HeavyGod specifically, Krill said: “HeavyGod, this guy is evolving day by day. He's a really positive guy and I'm feeling this energy, it's like a young me. I'm really happy we found this atmosphere because Ax1Le and interz are really quiet, ICY is really young to show the emotions, so it's really good that HeavyGod is an emotional guy. We can make the atmosphere in official matches and to hear something (laughs).”

When asked about his expectations from the team going into the Shanghai Major, Krill said: “I just wanna see more confidence in the next matches. It was really important to qualify for the Major, but everyone needs to step up individually to not be nervous a lot like we were in the RMR. You can't show it if you're nervous.”

How to Withdraw Money & Skins from Hellcase: 2026 Guide

To withdraw skins from Hellcase, players send trade requests directly from Hellcase to their Steam inventory. Hellcase doesn't do direct money transfers. To withdraw your cash from Hellcase, you'll need to use one of the many partnered third-party websites like ShadowPay. Both processes work as long as you follow the Steam trading rules, you have the right items, and your account is configured correctly.
