Hence, the update has been pleasantly received by fans, with one saying: “Keep dropping these small netcode fixes! Even small improvements add up, and eventually, we’ll get to the crispiness of CSGO. I’ve got hope!”

Train teaser
As fans remain pleased with the newest patch, they also await for more news on the potential addition of Train to the map pool. Train is a fan-favourite map from the original Counter-Strike 1.6 that was also remastered in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, so it’s no surprise to see that Counter-Strike 2 will also have it soon.
Specifically, the way Valve teased the map is by updating the banner on the official Counter-Strike Twitter profile to a picture of some in-game asphalt. While many debated over the asphalt pertaining to either Cache or Train, data miners were able to hit a jackpot that could likely confirm the latter. Particularly, data miner “AquaIsMissing” has recently discovered references to “train graffiti” and train-related sound effects in the files released for the last update.
