After moving to G2 Esports, he was initially paired with Kenny “kennyS” Schrub which was quickly deemed unsuccessful.
However, NiKo’s next pairing with Russian pro-Ilya “mONESY” Osipov proved to set G2 up for success. The iconic duo changed G2’s fortunes for the better as they went on to win multiple trophies, greatly increasing NiKo’s popularity.
