jottAAA is a player not completely unfamiliar to Eternal Fire, as the 22 year old previously spent two years, from 2022 to 2024, as a member of the organization’s academy team. During his time on loan at Sangal Esports starting last March, he demonstrated significant progress, achieving an impressive 1.12 rating in 2024 and delivering a striking performance at ESL Pro League Season 20, marking his S-Tier debut.
Although stepping aside from the starting lineup, the 26 year old Calyx will remain affiliated with the organization as he explores future opportunities both internally and in the broader esports scene.
Calyx had spent three impactful years with Eternal Fire, during which the team reached new heights at the big stage. They made an impressive playoff run at the PGL Major Copenhagen, where they were eliminated in the Quarterfinals. At ESL Pro League Season 20, they had a remarkable journey to the Grand Final, ultimately finishing second after a narrow loss against Natus Vincere. In addition to these achievements, Calyx also played a key role in securing the team’s second-place finish at the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024.
With these changes, Eternal Fire’s updated roster now consists of Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli, İsmailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş, Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın, Özgür "woxic" Eker, and Samet "jottAAA" Köklü.
Eternal Fire’s debut with jottAAA in the main lineup will take place at the BLAST Bounty Season 1. The IEM Katowice also seems to be a likely destination for the new team as they are currently ranked 14th in the CS2 Valve World Rankings.
