MIBR has announced major roster changes, bringing Breno “brnz4n” Poletto back into the standing lineup while parting ways with head coach Bruno “BIT” Fukuda Lima and benching in-game leader André "drop" Abreu after rough start to the season.

The team has struggled to find its footing in recent tournaments, bowing out early in BLAST Bounty, failing to progress beyond the first stage of IEM Katowice, and suffering a 1-3 elimination in the Swiss stage of PGL Cluj-Napoca. In between these setbacks, MIBR also fell short in the South American BLAST Open Lisbon qualifier, finishing as runners-up to Imperial.

BIT’s departure marks the end of an almost three-year tenure with the organization. After initially joining as head coach in 2022, he later transitioned into a strategic coach role before stepping back into the main coaching position earlier this year. In his farewell message, he stated that “the last weeks weren’t the best, but know that, despite everything, I gave my everyday to do everything that was and was not in my hands to help the team achieve its goal, whether it was as a coach, father, psychologist, analyst or whatever it took”.

Meanwhile drop, who had taken over as IGL in mid-2024, revealed on X that he personally requested to be benched, saying that he wasn't feeling his best. “Things hadn’t been working out the way we’d like, and I wasn’t feeling well, either inside or outside the game,” he stated. ”It’s time to reset, spend a few days sorting out problems I have with myself, and come back stronger”.

To fill the void left by drop, MIBR has reinstated brn4n, a product of their academy system, who previously spent over two years on the main roster before making way for Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves in September 2024. Now back in the starting lineup, he expressed his excitement on X, stating: “Very happy to play with these guys, who I have always been very fond of. Thank you, MIBR, for trusting me again. I had a lot of time to mentally reset from everything I was going through to come back at 200% and hungry to win”.

Additionally, Raphael “exit” Lacerda has been named the new in-game leader, reclaiming the captaincy role he previously held between January 2023 and August 2024. Reports also suggest MIBR will name Jhonatan "jnt" Silva as head coach, completing their roster overhaul.
