Specifically, Astralis was allowed to make a substitution for their captain Alexander "⁠br0⁠" Bro with Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller over a medical emergency ruling because the roster deadline had long since passed. However, according to br0’s agent, the former captain is perfectly healthy, something that organizers have failed to address while staying firm on their questionable decision.

On October 18th, 2024, HEROIC joined The MongolZ in the semi-finals as they secured the top seed of their group for a spot in the Playoffs.
