On December 6th 2024, while many fans looked on as their favorite teams qualified for the Elimination Stage at the Perfect World Shanghai Major, some were left heartbroken. One such major upset was with Team Complexity, Despite being one of the favorites to qualify, given that they were the fifth-highest-ranked team in the Opening Stage, they were sent home with a disappointing 2:3 win-lose ratio. For many fans, their heart sank on the opening day of the event where Complexity lost both of its best-of-one games to FlyQuest (6-13) and Passion UA (9-13).

Over the next two days, however, Complexity pulled out all the stops to redeem themselves, clawing their record back up to 2-2 by winning over Imperial (2-0) and Cloud9 (2-0). On the third day came their one and only chance to qualify for the Elimination Stage as they were pitted against BIG. The match started off in Complexity’s favour as they comfortably won their map pick, Anubis, 13-5. However, BIG turned the tides over the next two maps, winning both 13-9, partly due to Complexity choking some crucial rounds, as Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski told HLTV after the game.

What did EliGE say?

While the loss weighs on everyone in the team, it impacts EliGE a lot more as this is the first time he’ll miss the top-16 stage of a Major since PGL Major Kraków 2017. “On Ancient we just let it slip super hard. We made a mistake on pretty much all of our strats, which is super unfortunate when we could have just closed it out. I thought we were playing super well on CT side. Dust2 as well, we just couldn't really get our feet going. It's tough. I usually am always coming here to get to playoffs, top-four, win. That has always been my goal, to win, so not making it even close to the playoffs is obviously terrible. Yeah, just nothing but disappointment.”

When asked about what’s next for the team, especially over the off-seson, EliGE said: “We haven't talked about anything obviously, and I don't have any plans that I already have set or anything like that. But for me, I want to win next year. That's the only thing that I want, I've been feeling like I want to win, I'm ready to win for 2025, and I'm going to do whatever it takes to make sure I'm in that position to win.”

What Is Gamdom? Legitimacy, Ownership & Availability Guide (2026)

Gamdom is an online crypto casino and betting site where you can play all sorts of casino games. Some versions of the platform also let you bet on sports or esports. Because it involves real money and crypto, a lot of people naturally want to know if it’s legit, who runs it, and whether they can even use it in their country.

It’s worth noting that Gamdom isn’t available everywhere. Before signing up or putting in any money, you should check your local laws and Gamdom’s own rules. And like with any gambling, there’s a real risk of losing money, so it’s best to think of it as entertainment, not a way to make cash.
