HOTU secured the RLG Tesla Cup 2026 championship in Belgrade, Serbia, following an impressive performance throughout the competition. Led by experienced rifler David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan, the team demonstrated remarkable consistency, winning every series without dropping a single map. Their victory came at a crucial moment in the qualification race, with the deadline for Singapore Major invitations approaching.

HOTU Complete Flawless RLG Tesla Cup Campaign

HOTU dominated the tournament from the opening round, securing three consecutive 2-0 victories over Luminosity, B8, and GamerLegion to reach the grand final. Their consistent performances established them as strong contenders for the trophy, with the squad displaying effective teamwork and reliable individual contributions. The championship match brought another encounter with GamerLegion, but the outcome remained unchanged.

The final began on Dust2, where HOTU quickly established control and prevented their opponents from finding momentum. Dmitry "mizu" Kondratev delivered an outstanding performance, recording 24 kills, 140 average damage per round, and a 2.40 rating. His impact helped HOTU secure a convincing 13-6 victory and take the lead in the best-of-three series.

GamerLegion attempted to respond on Nuke, but HOTU maintained their advantage throughout the second map. This time, n0rb3r7 became the standout performer, finishing with a 1.69 rating and helping his team overcome their opponents' resistance. HOTU eventually closed out Nuke 13-9, completing the series 2-0 and securing the championship without dropping a map during the entire event.

mizu and n0rb3r7 Lead HOTU to Victory

Individual performances played an important role in HOTU's successful campaign, particularly during the grand final. mizu finished the series with 40 kills, 23 deaths, and a 1.64 rating, making him the highest-rated player in the match. His dominant showing on Dust2 created an early advantage that GamerLegion struggled to overcome.

n0rb3r7 also contributed significantly, recording 35 kills and a 1.31 rating across both maps. Aleksandr "dwushka" Pakhnevich supported the team's efforts with a 1.25 rating, while Kim "frontales" Argunov finished at 1.08. Their collective performance allowed HOTU to maintain control against GamerLegion and finish the tournament with eight consecutive map victories.

HOTU Climb 12 Places in VRS Rankings

Winning the RLG Tesla Cup delivered a major boost to HOTU's position in the Valve Regional Standings. The team gained approximately 104 ranking points, bringing its total to 1,477 and moving it up 12 positions to 25th place in the post-event projection. This improvement significantly strengthened its prospects of receiving an invitation to PGL Major Singapore 2026.

According to qualification simulations published immediately after the tournament, HOTU's probability of reaching the Major increased to 73.3%. Although the team has not yet officially secured its place, the championship provides a substantial advantage heading into the final qualification events. The Russian squad will now travel to Moscow for GLuck Moscow Cyber Games 2026, its last tournament before the invitation cutoff.

FaZe Secure Major Spot While B8 Face Uncertainty

The RLG Tesla Cup also had significant consequences for several other teams competing for Singapore Major invitations. FaZe secured qualification after finishing third, earning enough ranking points to guarantee their place at the tournament. Their recovery followed a difficult period in which the international squad struggled to maintain consistent results.

B8 experienced a less successful outcome, missing an important opportunity in their encounter against FaZe. The Ukrainian team's projected qualification probability dropped to just 12%, leaving its Major hopes dependent on the remaining results. Meanwhile, Envy and Luminosity were eliminated from contention following disappointing performances and early exits from the competition.

GamerLegion also benefited from reaching the grand final despite losing to HOTU. The team gained 81 VRS points and climbed 14 positions to 33rd place in the post-event standings. However, the defeat highlighted the challenges facing the roster as it continues adapting to recent changes and attempts to improve its competitive consistency.

HOTU Prepare for Final Major Qualification Challenge

HOTU's championship victory represents a major step forward in their pursuit of a PGL Major Singapore invitation. Their undefeated run demonstrated strong individual form, effective team coordination, and the ability to deliver consistent results under pressure. With their qualification probability now standing at 73.3%, the team enters the final stage of the VRS race in a promising position.

The upcoming GLuck Moscow Cyber Games 2026 will provide HOTU with another opportunity to collect valuable ranking points before the invitation deadline. While qualification remains dependent on the final standings, the team's successful performance in Belgrade has significantly improved its chances of competing at one of the year's biggest Counter-Strike 2 tournaments.
