Legacy have confirmed another roster change, moving Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira to the bench and bringing in 21-year-old Italo "ksloks" Meinberg as his replacement. The Brazilian organization will use the new lineup for the remainder of the 2026 Counter-Strike 2 season following three consecutive group-stage eliminations.
The decision comes during a difficult period for Legacy, who have struggled to maintain their earlier success despite remaining among the world's top ten teams. After winning FISSURE Playground 3, the squad experienced a noticeable decline in performance, raising questions about its consistency ahead of the final tournaments of the year. The organization has not publicly explained the reason for n1ssim's latest removal from the active roster.
This marks the second time n1ssim has been removed from Legacy's starting lineup this year. Earlier in the season, the organization temporarily benched the Brazilian rifler while exploring a potential transfer for Felipe "insani" Yuji. However, the move did not materialize, allowing n1ssim to return to the active roster and help Legacy secure the FISSURE Playground 3 championship.
Despite that achievement, the team's results deteriorated in the following months. One significant setback occurred when captain Andrei "arT" Piovezan was unable to participate in ESL Pro League because of meningitis. Legacy subsequently suffered three consecutive group-stage exits, including an unsuccessful campaign at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, where they finished with a 1-3 record after losing to The MongolZ.
Italo "ksloks" Meinberg will now step into Legacy's starting five for the final three tournaments of 2026. The 21-year-old Brazilian has been a free agent since leaving ODDIK in July, although he has continued competing in smaller events with Turma do Pagode. His performances have previously attracted attention within the Brazilian Counter-Strike scene, where he has been regarded as a promising young talent.
Legacy had already registered ksloks as a substitute when uncertainty surrounded arT's availability following his health problems. The organization has now decided to give him a more significant role, allowing him to compete against established international opponents. Over the past three months, ksloks has recorded a 1.22 rating across 55 maps, suggesting he could provide additional firepower.

The roster adjustment comes shortly before several important international competitions. ksloks is expected to make his official debut for Legacy at IEM Beijing 2026, which begins on November 2. He is also scheduled to represent the organization at BLAST Rivals and PGL Major Singapore, making the final months of the season a major opportunity for the young rifler.
Despite losing his starting position, n1ssim is still expected to receive player stickers for the Singapore Major. Since ksloks will not compete in an official match for Legacy before the November 2 roster deadline, the previous lineup remains relevant for the tournament's sticker eligibility. The change therefore affects the team's competitive roster without necessarily altering its registered player stickers.
Following the announcement, Legacy's active lineup consists of Andrei "arT" Piovezan, Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer, Bruno "latto" Rebelatto, Santino "try" Rigal, and newcomer Italo "ksloks" Meinberg. Alan "adrrr" Riveros remains the team's coach, while n1ssim moves to the inactive roster.
The organization has opted for a targeted replacement rather than a complete rebuild, keeping most of the squad that previously achieved success at FISSURE Playground 3. The main objective will be restoring consistency and improving results after several disappointing tournaments. With major international events approaching, ksloks will have limited preparation time to adapt to his new teammates and demonstrate his value.
For Legacy, the final stretch of 2026 will determine whether this adjustment can help the squad recover its earlier form. The team remains competitive in the global rankings, but stronger performances will be necessary to maintain that position. The upcoming tournaments will also provide an early indication of whether ksloks could become a long-term solution heading into the 2027 season.
