Aurora are heading into the CS2 playoffs with strong momentum, but concerns around the XANTARES injury are starting to draw attention. In a recent interview, MAJ3R shared important details about the player’s condition and how it could affect the team’s performance moving forward. With the playoffs approaching, this situation could become one of the key storylines.
The Aurora CS2 roster delivered a strong performance in the group stage, securing wins over FaZe and FURIA before falling to NAVI. These results showed that the team can compete against top-tier opponents. With playoffs ahead, Aurora look competitive, but internal concerns around player health remain and could impact consistency.
In a recent interview, MAJ3R confirmed that XANTARES is currently playing through a hand injury. The issue has been ongoing, and medical professionals previously advised rest. However, due to a packed tournament schedule, taking time off has not been possible, forcing the player to continue competing.
Aurora have been traveling constantly, competing in multiple CS2 events over the past few weeks. This heavy schedule has limited recovery time and reduced opportunities for proper treatment. As a result, it becomes harder for XANTARES to fully heal and return to peak form.
Although XANTARES continues to compete, he sometimes experiences pain during matches. This can affect his precision and consistency — key factors in high-level CS2 gameplay. Even small discomfort can influence performance, especially in high-pressure situations.
At the moment, the Aurora roster is not planning any immediate changes. XANTARES remains active in the lineup, and the team still relies on his experience and impact. However, they are closely monitoring his condition and staying prepared for possible adjustments.
Heading into the playoffs, Aurora remain a strong contender with solid recent results. However, the XANTARES injury could become a key factor in their performance. If managed well, the team can maintain momentum — but any setback could affect their chances in crucial matches.
