MOUZ shows excellent results and progress every season. They had to play against strong opponents during this group stage to get important points. MOUZ won Liquid with a score of 16:2, which shocked all viewers and analysts. At stake is a passage to the Champions Stage. ENCE is a difficult opponent who has only recently begun to show the highest level of play. Cyber-sport.io team has prepared a brief analysis for you. Let's go!

MOUZ vs. ENCE: group stage IEM Rio Major 2022

Ancient

MOUZ burst into the pistol round like this tournament - quickly. JDC breaks into the B site with the team and kills three opponents. MOUZ  took talented players, 3 of them were young blood that is eager to fight. JDC is an example of this. MOUZ starts each round by controlling the central part of the map. Both teams don't play very aggressively, and the players try to adapt to the opposition. MOUZ makes low-profile attacks using the control of a large part of the space. ENCE must understand that their opponents' strong side is the attack side.

The game against Liquid is an example of this. For CT-side, they can make more mistakes. Does ENCE understand it? Closer to the 9th round, ENCE adapted to brutal attacks from opponents and leveled the score. After that, the attacking side began to dominate again, which greatly spoiled the economic component of ENCE. Thus, MOUZ continued to show their hunger in each subsequent round. Excellent team play through the mid complemented sharp attacks with smoke and fire. The first half of the match ended with the confident dominance of MOUZ on the map. 10:5 in favor of MOUZ .

The second half of the game destroyed the morale of the ENCE team. MOUZ played weaker defensively than offensively, and opponents still need to adapt to MOUZ's style of play. ENCE's attacks were too soft, slow, sluggish, and monotonous. MOUZ continued to dominate in the second half. Score 16:5. MOUZ won.

Nuke

The map on which ENCE always shows an excellent game. From the beginning, the ENCE team looks much more confident than Ancient. That may be a chance to get good revenge. The pistol round turned into a post-plant situation. During the following rounds, there were many mistakes from MOUZ, especially torzsi.

The player could not implement a kill every round, forcing the team to make a save. It seems that ENCE has found the right pace of the game in which they comfortably beat the opponent. The map's geometry does not allow MOUZ to do significant splits, which ENCE enjoys. MOUZ needs more patience in each round and reveals their positions in advance to the enemy.

MOUZ manages to hold back the opponents' attack in 1 of 3 rounds. And everything repeats. Everyone can see how uncomfortable MOUZ is to play on this map. The whole half of the game passed at this pace. ENCE parries every dangerous attack from opponents trying to find a surprise effect. Outnumbered, MOUZ can't hold back ENCE's attack in round 15. 11:4 in favor of ENCE.

In the match's second half, MOUZ started to play for their strong side, but they continued to play very carefully, even against the economic round of opponents. MOUZ managed to win three rounds, after which Ence began to show why they chose Nuke. The attack side economy is dead. MOUZ's every attack breaks against the wall of ENCE's defenses. Dangerous attacks or trying to keep up with the end of the timing in defeat for MOUZ. Thus this match ended. Score 16:8. Congratulations to ENCE on the win.
