We're happy to announce that For Honor is shaping out to be one of the greatest crossplay games available. Even though it's still early, it seems like Ubisoft is working diligently to provide this game complete cross-platform capability. So continue reading to find out whether For Honor has cross-platform capabilities!
The good news in this situation is that For Honor has cross-platform gameplay set as the default setting. Want to avoid crossplay? What you must do to turn off crossplay in For Honor is as follows:
Now that the fundamental definition of crossplay has been established, it's time to examine how it relates to For Honor. Since the game lacked cross-platform functionality when it launched in 2017, Ubisoft has been working diligently to rectify the situation.
These changes have already taken place. Phase one was released in the spring of 2022, and phase two will debut sometime in the following season. Check out the modifications below to discover how they impact cross-platform gaming.
You can essentially enjoy cross-platform matching whether you're playing from a PlayStation, Xbox, or PC thanks to Phase 1 of the For Honor crossplay rollout. Even though this is fantastic news, you should be aware that your present skill levels will need to be updated soon to be comparable to those of other gaming platforms.
For Honor is now cross-generational, which allows you to connect with other players using the same console family, such the PS4 and PS5. Phase 2 is where For Honor crossplay really picks up. This is the point when you can finally team up with buddies and destroy rivals who are on other platforms. As a result, For Honor should be completely cross-platform.
Sadly, For Honor cannot be progressed with. Cross-progression refers to the ability to share your game progress and all of the related awards across several platforms, which isn't possible in this instance. Therefore, you won't be able to maintain all of your unlocks, costumes, heroes, etc. if you are playing For Honor on an Xbox and then move to a PC. While not ideal, the absence of Dead by Daylight cross-progression demonstrates that For Honor is not the only game that restricts cross-progression.
Early results seem to be extremely positive, and matching for both PVP and PVE modes is simple. As a result, we'll keep this website updated to track the progress of phase 2 of the crossplay operation. So stay tuned for more information regarding the cross-platform For Honor game!
