BESTIA Add leo_drk To Complete Roster

The start of 2025 has not been kind to BESTIA, with several early tournament exits against lower-ranked opponents exposing the cracks in their lineup. Just today, BESTIA suffered a concerning series defeat against Sharks at the ESL Challenger League Season 49 South America, where they lost to the Brazilian team 1-13 and 8-13. In response, they have opted for a roster shake-up, with leo_drk being the first of at least two new additions aimed at revitalizing the squad. 

leo_drk is best known for his time with 00NATION, where he played alongside Marcelo “coldzera” David throughout 2021 and 2022, gaining valuable experience at a high level. The Brazilian joins the Argentinian organization after starting 2025 with Swingers, a team he notably played against multiple times this year. In their most recent encounters, Swingers eliminated BESTIA from CCT South America Series 7 with a 2-0 victory, demonstrating this potential as a strong addition to the roster. 

BESTIA have been a regular presence in the Americas RMR circuit, making two appearances last year at the qualifiers for the PGL Major Copenhagen and Perfect World Shanghai Major. Their campaign for a spot at Perfect World Shanghai Major was particularly close, ending with a 2-3 record after an intense, double-overtime loss to M80.

One of the standout players during that run was Tomas "⁠tomaszin⁠" Corna, whose 1.37 rating placed him among the top performers of the event – ranking second overall and surpassing well-known names like Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski and Roland "⁠ultimate⁠" Tomkowiak. Despite this, BESTIA have struggled to maintain consistent form, frequently adjusting their lineup in search of stability.

The team’s instability led to a series of roster changes throughout 2024. naz was originally brought in to strengthen the squad after their first RMR disappointment. But further struggles prompted more shifts. Ignacio "⁠meyern⁠" Meyer was replaced by Mauro "⁠zock⁠" Da Silva midway through the year, only for zock to be benched following their second RMR failure.

With the signing, BESTIA’s roster now consists of the Argentinians Tomas "⁠tomaszin⁠" Corna, Luciano "⁠luchov⁠" Herrera, and Nicolás "⁠Noktse⁠" Dávila, and the Brazilian Leonardo "⁠leo_drk⁠" Oliveira. Julián "⁠Zote⁠" Acosta acts as their current coach.
