On December 19th 2024, Complexity’s CEO, Jason Lake, went on The Four Horsemen podcast to discuss the state of affairs regarding their organization. This comes after the team’s disappointing run at the Shanghai Major, before which Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski said: "We haven't talked about anything obviously, and I don't have any plans that I already have set or anything like that. But for me, I want to win next year. I've been feeling like I want to win, I'm ready to win for 2025, and I'm going to do whatever it takes to make sure I'm in that position to win."

What did Jason Lake say?

When asked about ELiGE’s prospects on the team going forward, Jason said: "We had a meeting, right here in my office. I want what's best for him. He's at the stage in his career where he's really peaking, his biological clock is ticking. We're certainly not a prison here. If Jon can find an organization that, right now, can battle for top three consistently we'll try our best to make it happen for him and take whatever buyout we can get for him."

ELiGE has been Complexity’s star player, reaching the top 20 five times, averaging a 1.19 rating this year. On the other hand, his team has struggled to qualify for playoffs time and again this year, prompting a deeper reflection from his end as to whether or not he wants to continue playing for the team. He is currently 27 years old and approaching his thirties, so his roster decision for next year is all the more critical.

Recently on December 16th, ELiGE announced a new agency for himself going into the 2025 year, stating on X (formerly Twitter): “With the year coming to an end, I wanted to thank everyone for the support & wishing all of you a happy holidays! Looking towards to 2025 to be even better and with that, I am excited to announce that I am now represented by @samsonem and you can contact him for the future!“

However, for him, a strict requirement for suitors is that they be able to reach the top three fairly consistently, singling out powerhouses like G2, Vitality and FaZe. We wish all the best for ELiGE regardless. As for Complexity, Jason confirmed they’d look for a replacement from his home region if EliGE gets signed by another organization in 2025.
