With only two T-side rounds to their name, Falcons crumbled as MOUZ secured a 13-6 victory.
Falcons responded to this loss on Mirage, with NiKo leading the charge. He locked down mid, making it nearly impossible for MOUZ to gain control. With their midline secured, the team effortlessly shut down MOUZ’s attacks, storming to halftime with a 10-2 lead. Although MOUZ found some success on their defensive half, it was too little, too late. Falcons wasted no time closing out the map, flipping the script with a dominant 13-4 scoreline of their own.
On Nuke, MOUZ came out swinging, taking full control for the outset. Their suffocating defense allowed them to dominate the first half, building a commanding 9-3 lead. However, the switch to T-side brought a reinvigorated Falcons, with NiKo, TeSeS, and Degster leading a desperate comeback effort. But critical missteps from kyxsan and Magisk proved costly, and despite their best efforts, Falcons crumbled in front of MOUZ, who secured their second map with a 13-11 victory.
Anubis was a hard-fought battle, with both teams pushing each to the limit. Falcons started off strong, but MOUZ gradually took control, edging ahead to close the first half with a two-round lead. The pattern repeated after the break, as MOUZ maintained their composure and thwarted Falcons’’ attempts at a comeback. With a well-organized finish, they closed out the map 13-9, securing both the series and the championship.
NiKo ended up claiming the Most Valuable Player award at the tournament after dominating the event with an impressive 1.27 rating. While his team did fail to secure the title in the end, finishing as runners-up in just their second event is a massive step forward for Falcons, especially after a dismal 2024.
