The series kicked off on Train, where FURIA took the pistol round that quickly lost control as Falcons dominated the first half, leading 7-5. However, Falcons struggled to close things out in the second half, with Emil "Magisk" Reif delivering two crucial quad-kills to force overtime. Unfortunately for Falcons, FURIA mounted a flawless CT defense in overtime, led by Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes and Felipe "skullz" Medeiros, securing the map 16-13.

Mirage was a back-and-forth affair, with the teams tied at halftime. FURIA initially exploited the B site to recover from a 1-4 deficit but lost steam after fumbling their pistol round win. NiKo turned the tides with a 3v5 recovery against FURIA’s Deagles, putting Falcons ahead 9-7. The game swung again as Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo’s AWPing and strong site defences from KSCERATO pushed FURIA to 12-8. But then, NiKo delivered an incredible killing-spree to turn the tables. The Russian sniper then secured a last-second defuse in overtime, sealing the map 16-14.

Dust2 saw NiKo continue his dominance, clutching a 1v2 and racking up multi-kills alongside TeSeS to give Falcons a 7-5 lead by the end of the first half. FURIA fought back after winning the second pistol round, but crucial mistakes cost them. A poorly played post-plant on B allowed kyxsan to steal away a 1v2 clutch, and NiKo followed up with another triple-kill in the next round to snatch the momentum. The final nail in the coffin for FURIA ended up being Magisk’s triple spraydown, which sealed the map 13-9 for Falcons.

NiKo Leads Falcons To Victory Over FURIA In ESL Pro League Season 21 Elimination Match

FURIA struggled throughout Stage 2, managing only a single win over MIBR while suffering defeat to MOUZ, Liquid, and ultimately Falcons. Meanwhile, Falcons arrived to this tournament fresh off a second-place finish at PGL Cluj-Napoca but were on the brink of elimination after losses to MOUZ and 3DMAX. It took everything they had to survive, and at the heart of their victory was NiKo, whose incredible multi-kill performances not only powered a comeback on Mirage but also kept Dust2 under control, helping Falcons soar into the playoffs.
