Outsiders set TOP 1 of HLTV rankings

The authoritative portal HLTV has presented an updated ranking of the best CS:GO teams in the world. According to the results of the past week, the Outsiders team broke into the first line, gaining five positions. Note that such an achievement became possible due to the team's victory at IEM Rio Major 2022.

It is noteworthy that the former leaders - Vitality, FaZe Clan and Team Liquid - lost six positions each, and now they are ranked from 7th to 9th, respectively. The Brazilians from FURIA also moved up and now occupy the fifth position. The TOP-10 is closed by the Team Spirit team, which managed to reach the playoffs of the last IEM Rio Major 2022.

 

The take-off also happened to the Fnatic team, which rose by five positions and settled on the 11th line of the rating. Among other notable changes, it is worth highlighting Sprout's jump - the team climbed to 21st place. After the failure at the Major, the Swedish team Ninjas in Pyjamas lost their positions and dropped to 15th place. The forZe team returned to the top 30, moving up six positions and closing the list of the strongest representatives of the professional scene.

Earlier, the main championship of the autumn part of the season - IEM Rio Major 2022 - has ended. As part of the tournament, which was held from October 31 to November 13 in Rio de Janeiro at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro conference center, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, Asia, North and South America fought for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points for the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023.

 

The winner of the tournament was the Outsiders, which in the Grand Final was stronger than the Danes from Team Heroic with a score of 2:0 (Mirage - 16:12; Overpass - 16:5).
