The first thing that catches your eye in 7.33 Valve has significantly reduced the growth of all attributes from Broodmother. It is not surprising because several patches in a row raised her agility gain. And if the stats are left unchanged but give the hero a universal tag, you get almost 100 damage at the start. Therefore, we consider this an adequate balance.
We are more interested in the first skill, namely the percentage increase in damage from the base. The bottom line is that all attributes give us white damage, that is, basic damage, respectively, and it increases with the first skill. Well, also shard, which gradually increases the damage. As a result, we have an item for 1400, which gives hundreds of additional damage in the presence of 2-3 items; consider it as Sven's ult only with a built-in Satanic and small CD.
Then comes 7.33b, where it raises the base strength and its growth, which gives even more damage from the hand at the start. They also give additional attacks and, in addition, buff the damage from the first skill even more. It would seem that there are already enough ups for the hero, but that's not all. Now the radius of the Spin Web from 900 has been increased to 1200, which has become a super nice buff in terms of the hero's movement around the map.
Well, in the last 7.33d, they upped miserably, reducing the cooldown on the grid, which is not super critical. And also increased the damage of the third skill - Silken Bola, which enhances the already strong lane.
So what do we have after the next rework? Now not only spiders begin to hit, but the hero himself becomes independent without them. It turned out to be just an old Brood, like a few years ago. The hero stands out against the background of the general nerfs of universals, the same Marci, Void Spirit, and Windranger. Yes, even Egor Grigorenko, known as Nightfall, made a rampage playing the hero in the first position. Of course, Broodmother has become truly universal because she can be taken both on the mid-lane, offlane, and carry. Because in each role, the character can fulfill his destiny and play differently.
Now the hero has no main attribute and takes damage for each stat. Therefore, buying the previously popular Orchid Malevolence is not their priority in this patch. Now there is at least one build. Starting purchase - 3x Iron Branch, 2x Circlet, and Tango. Then we bring a Wraith Band to ourselves if we are against a hero with visa damage and Bracer in any other variant, also according to the Magic Wand situation.
Then comes Soul Ring, Power Treads, and Echo Saber - after all, this set of items is perfectly balanced in terms of stats, damage, and mana regeneration for the money. And we are already looking at how the game turns out. If you dominate - buy Harpoon. This is a few extra stats and the ability to hook someone. If the game is more measured - buy Manta Style/Black King Bar. Next, buy Aghanim's Shard. The rest of the items are situational.
In the skill build, the emphasis is still on the Spin Web, as before, because our farm and further movements depend on it. In the second turn, the first skill is downloaded - Insatiable Hunger, because it scales strongly with the appearance of items for stats.
Broodmother had an impressive performance at the Bali Major, becoming one of the tournament's most visible and influential heroes. Her presence and impact on the game were clear, and she played a key role in several matches. It will be interesting to follow the game's development in the context of Broodmother and see how teams will adapt to her presence and develop new tactics to counter her.
