Pros and cons

Murlock has fast movement speed and high regeneration index that allows him to “survive” on the easy lane, help allies, and restore hp. Shadow Dance (ultimate) makes it easy to run away from a gang, even if several opponents attack at the same time. In addition, Dark Pact removes all negative effects, such as slowing and poisoning. His skills don't require much mana and are very useful in battles. Slark's invisibility is not revealed by artifacts, and his passive skill allows him to detect enemy wards.

At the last game stage, the attack speed increases so much that you can nullify the enemy's health in a few seconds, dealing high damage. But at the same time, it is difficult to level up at the beginning of the match. Moreover, the hero's stats are low, and heap and mana are insufficient at the initial stage. Frog is also vulnerable to AOE skills, as well as to disables. If the idea of control works, Slark will quickly lose HP and will be killed.

Skills set up

How to win Slark: carry tips and tricks

His major spell is Dark Pact. “Angry frog” creates a wave with a 1.5-second delay, damaging enemies nearby in a radius of 325. Dark Pact prevents you from committing suicide by rolling. All negative effects such as poison and debuffs disappear. The next skill is Pounce. Salrk jumps forward capturing the first enemy in front of the hero. After a successful pounce, the enemy will only be able to move within a certain radius of where Slark landed.

Essence Shift is a passive ability that allows you to take enemies' characteristics and transform them into Dexterity. Shadow Dance is our hero's ultimate, which allows Murlock to become invisible. Invisibility is not revealed by artifacts and skills of other characters, and being in it, Slark moves faster and regenerates his HP.

Gameplay

Initially, your head task is to get level 6 as fast as possible. It is recommended to swing only Dark Pact and Pounce, because on the dawn of the game Slark deals more % damage. Essence Shift should start maxing after level 11 to increase kill potential. There is one nuance. In spite of abilities and artifacts, Slark begins to lose by the end of the match due to weak stats gain. Therefore, it makes sense to finish the game or provide a big advantage before the enemy heroes reach level 20-25.

Artifacts that are perfect for Slark

At the beginning of the game, get Tango first, some Iron Branch, Quelling Blade, then Wraith Band. Basic items: Power Treads, Magic Wand, Sange and Yasha, Eye of Skadi, Black King Bar, Butterfly. If necessary and with a lot of gold, you can buy Silver Edge, Abyssal Blade, Moon Shard, and Heart of Tarrasque. If you want to buy Aghanim's Shard, you get Depth Shroud which creates an area of clouds with a 300 radius for 3 seconds. All allies in the cloud are hidden and affected by Shadow Dance.

Conclusion

Fast, agile, and vicious, Slark can start winning from the first minutes of the battle. If you give him freedom of action and the ability to farm, he will turn into a hard-to-kill hero. Destroying enemy wards and getting gold by ganks, by the 20th minute you can reach an overwhelming advantage and try to destroy the enemy's base. Try watching the games of professional players and catch an interesting cases for yourself.
