Are you a FaZe's fan? We all realize that FaZe Clan are in its worst form, but we can't deny their mentality to come back and outperform the opponent. Additionally, anything can be expected from Fnatic. This stable team showed good results and has been trying to win IEM for more than a year. However, what's happened a couple of weeks ago, when FaZe got a so-so victory in the match vs Fnatic. Let's discuss it together!
FaZe vs Fnatic: IEM Road to Rio 2022

FaZe Clan beat Fnatic in the second round of IEM Rio Major 2022: European RMR A in CS:GO. The match on Nuke ended with a score of 19:17. According to karrigan, after a break from performing, the FaZe Clan roster constantly needs more small details to succeed. At the same time, the team captain is impressed that even in such an unpleasant situation, the team can win. Cyber-sport.io authors prepared a short match analysis, so you can survey all pros and cons both of sides.

FaZe vs Fnatic: IEM Road to Rio 2022

Nuke - first half

Faze started their first game on the defensive side. Pistol round. Fnatic made a fake at bombsite A and suddenly started pushing Ramp. After killing one of the defenders, the attack side enters the Ramp and turns back towards bombsite A. Twistzz meets the opponents and shows excellent shooting and understanding of the game. Two allies are in Heaven and help their anchor protect the bombsite. A very aggressive pistol-round win from FNC.

FASHR makes a quad kill and thus wins the team in an economically significant round. Faze, early on, show a very passive, sluggish defense through which the opponents manage to break through and kill the defenders who constantly split. Faze needs more time to help their allies due to the fast pace of attack from the opponents.

After that, Faze tried to adapt to the aggressive playing style of the opponents and tried to be the first to make contact. The next rounds of FNC showed a smoother game, something Faze was not ready for, who made force. At the end of the rounds, FNC's fluid playstyle turns into a powerful one-point lunge. FASHR shows excellent shooting and does not give chances for a retake to opponents.

Nuke - mid-part

Despite this, FNC on the attacking side has shown a unique and exciting game. The constant change of pace helps them win another round, but after that, the situation changes. In the 5th round, Faze managed to hold off the opponents and won the round thanks to a minor split and excellent coordination on the opponents' location.

Faze has successfully adapted to the opponent's play style, and this has helped to hold off every next FNC attack. Faze managed to make the score 7:5 in their favor and forced FNC to think about their economy. In the next rounds, FNC tried to play much more carefully than at the beginning of the match.

This tactic fails, and Faze begins to crush opponents using more aggressive positions. Faze took all the next rounds of the first half of the game. FNC's team spirit turned into standard errors and bad trades, negatively affecting the team's economy. Although Faze initially allowed the opponent to show their game, FNC needed help to realize their plans.

Nuke - second half

In the second half of the game, the first round of Faze was for the side of the attack. RAIN ran through the entire map in the pistol round and managed to get behind enemy lines. While RAIN was killing one opponent, the rest of Faze's players broke through FNC's defenses and planted the bomb. Faze won the pistol round. He wins the first duel every round, which helps the team get at least some advantage on the map, but the team still needs to be ready to carry out the attack.

FNC tried to get used to the pace of the opponents. They manage to start to control the map and limit the space of the opponents. Thanks to smooth, reliable defense, FNC evens the score. It should be noted how BROKY makes opponents afraid, for a good reason.

The late game turned into a constant change of tactics between the teams. Round 26 was a turning point for Faze, an unsuccessful attack, FNC managed to kill four opponents without any significant losses, and ROPZ did not keep up with his team and plays his own game. Thus, FNC manages to squeeze the opponent into an uncomfortable play frame and defend the site twice. 13:15 in favor of FNC.

After that, Faze wakes up and starts playing again aggressively, almost without using significant splits. That brings them a score of 15:15 and a chance to win this confrontation.

Overtime

In the late game, it was impossible to tell which team had the advantage, each round, the situation changed dramatically. That went on until round 35. FNC change the vector of their game 3-4 times per round. Faze remained calm, which brought them victory in the following rounds. The last rounds of Faze showed excellent team play with a perfectly balanced defense that shattered the full potential of FNC in this match. Faze won this worthy confrontation.

The best way to get the best skins in CS:GO
Counter-Strike hasn’t been losing popularity for more than 20 years. The latest part, Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, was presented in 2012. Despite the fact that the game was released ten years ago, its online presence continues to grow year after year, breaking eSports records. This is all thanks to constant updates, smart economy, and game balance. Even though the game is free, donations don’t affect the player's success in any way. Cases with different skins, which change a weapon's animation and look but don't change the game's balance, are the main way CS:GO makes money.
