People have a stereotype that a gamer is a person who does not take care of his physical health, constantly plays, and spoils his health. There are few such examples on the professional scene. The high level of competition means that the players have to look good and be healthy. PashaBiceps is the only player in CS:GO history to challenge preconceived notions about esportsmen through his appearance and behavior.

Unofficially, Yaroslav is considered the strongest CS player on the pro scene and even created his own Internet trend - “TeamBiceps”, after his fans liked the addition to Yaroslav's nickname - pashaBiceps. His constant phrase "my friend" has become epic: fans and professional players often use it. An incredibly kind and sympathetic person with a special Polish accent when speaking English. However, who stands over the figure of this enigmatic CS player? Let's figure it out together with Cyber-sport.io.

When did PashaBiceps start playing CS?

Yaroslav Yazhambovsky was born on April 11, 1988, in the Polish city of Naselsk. He spent a lot of time outside, playing football and helping his parents at home. In early 2000, the first computer club was opened in his city. After that, Yaroslav and his friends began to spend a lot of time there, playing Counter-Strike. At first, it was a couple of times a week, but then Yaroslav started playing every day. When Yaroslav was 15, he and his peers began participating in various tournaments. Pasha started playing Paintball because he liked serious games where teamwork and tactics were essential.

Successes in eSports began to generate income. At first, it was little prize money, which was only enough for entertainment, but it became more extensive. When Yaroslav was 18 years old, his mother moved to Germany. She did not doubt that Yaroslav was a seriously independent guy and could live independently.

At this stage of his life, Yaroslav greatly narrowed his social circle. Pasha played and worked as a builder, but thanks to his perseverance, he managed to move to the capital - Warsaw. Many people scoffed and asked Yaroslav, "Can you buy an apartment for your family by playing computer games?" After that, Yaroslav joined one of the strongest teams in CS 1.6 - TheGoldenFive.

Did pashaBiceps win a Major?

In 2012, Yaroslav and his team started playing on a competitive field. New roster, new game mechanics, and something to train and learn. At this time, Yaroslav got married. All this raised a big question about Yaroslav's career. Perseverance made Yaroslav a well-known strong player. In 2014 in Katowice, Yaroslav won the biggest tournament - Major. The last big win was in 2017 at DreamHack in Las Vegas. After the Major in Katowice, Yaroslav ended his professional career as an esportsman. That was because he wanted to spend more time with his family and develop in other areas of activity.

Constant training, lack of sleep, and fast food gave the result. Yaroslav gained extra weight. He realized that an esportsman needs to take care of his health too. Regular cardio workouts helped him lose weight. Later, he switched to strength training and continued to do so. His morning does not begin with breakfast but with a set of exercises.

Does pashaBiceps still play CS:GO?

PashaBiceps officially announces his return to competitive Counter-Strike. He has assembled a team of youngsters under the banner of “Liquid Biceps”. They will be participating in the upcoming Polish Esports League. After taking a vacation of more than a year, the 32-year-old has decided to resume his career as a professional CS:GO player. He was last spotted playing as a trial player with AGO in September 2019, after which he changed careers and began working as a streamer for Team Liquid.

The Polish AWPer has now determined to return to the competition circuit with a group of young athletes that he has reportedly put together under the name “Liquid Biceps”. No additional members of this roster, outside pashaBiceps, have been revealed yet; maybe more details will surface later.
