We consider him the hardest player in the world, and I think he can be a mainstay for any team. He is a genius and knows what he can do. Losing is not an option for him. These are words about a player whose history you will survey today, a player who, thanks to perseverance, has become one of the best, and his name is Coldzera.
The history of Coldzera CS:GO: Brazilian "AWP Lord"

Marcelo is one of the best Brazilian CS:GO players, but before Luminosity Gaming found this talent, he was just an unknown amateur. Early in the development of the competitive scene, his brother introduced and taught his younger brother how to play Counter-Strike. Coldzera was an awful player, and everyone joked and laughed at him because of that. That was why the transition from playing to serious training proved to everyone that Coldzera could do more. CS:GO became a big part of Marcelo's life, and he had to hide it from his parents, who were very worried about their child's addiction. Cyber-sport.io prepared a short review of Coldzera's history in competitive CS:GO.

Coldzera's first team CS:GO

Coldzera told that the history of competitive CS:GO began with Luminosity Gaming. It was one chance in a million. At first, the father forbade his son to leave Brazil when Marcelo received an invitation from Luminosity Gaming. One phone call from Fallen changed Father Marcelo's mind. It was a very emotional moment, and Fallen asked dad, as a father, that he should let him go.

With his father's blessing, the young player went to the USA. At the beginning of 2015, Luminosity was starting its career. When Coldzera joined them, the team received the missing firepower that would lead them to victory. In their first big tournament, they managed to get to the quarterfinals, but there they met with Fnatic. They almost won, but Fnatic's experience was able to hold this team back. A few months later, Coldzera showed why Fallen chose him. His skill grew, and his game began to surprise spectators and opponents.

The results of 2015 were higher than expected, but something still needed to be added. The team invited two new players, which helped Coldzera. Marcelo began to pick up a sniper rifle, which revealed a great sniper in him. Then the legendary Brazilian staff was created, which won the hearts of the fans. Luminosity reached the final of the Dreamhack tournament, where they faced NaVi. A brutal confrontation ended with the victory of the Ukrainian team, and the Brazilian team was left without a title. That gave the team an incentive to develop.

Luminosity came to this tournament to snatch victory from any opponent that gets in their way. They made it to the playoffs without any problems. There they met against Virtus, pro. The first map made the Brazilian fans nervous, but Coldzera showed what he could do with his team afterward. After the victory, they met against Team Liquid. Opponents were head and shoulders above the Brazilians.

There seemed to be no chance of winning, but the incredible happened. This moment showed the whole world who Coldzera was. Marcelo started playing in a way he hadn't played before. It was impossible to stop him. AWP, Mirage, Appartaments, 4 kills. That was incredible. After that, the world began to respect and fear this Brazilian monster.

At ESL One: Cologne, Luminosity was having a good time. However, off-field issues diverted the team's attention from capturing back-to-back championships. The management and players inked contracts to join SK Gaming just days before the Columbus Major.

After their ground-breaking triumph in Columbus, the squad was stuck between the two organizations. The weeks leading up to ESL One: Cologne saw news after one another about how the Brazilians were involved in a contractual dispute. Each party claimed the roster. The Brazilian team debuted as the new SK Gaming team in the Cologne tournament. To advance to the final, Coldzera and his fellow assassins once again dispatched G2 Esports, FaZe Clan, Virtus.pro, and Flipside Tactics with ease.

Coldzera's net worth
