The "A-side" is a likable spot for terrorists to get their slow breakthrough. Correctly using different types of utilities, such as Flashes and Smokes, make it easy to get on the plant and hold it till the end of the round. There are two ways to enter the plant (except mid): Ramp and Palace.
Palace is commonly used for crossfire with opponents on the Jungle or Stairs position meanwhile, Ramp is for controlling CT side and The Spot position. Also, can't help mentioning "Under/On Palace" positions, which are very powerful for CT side players due to the ability to knock opponents in the back.
"Stairs/Connector" positions are connected cause provides an ability to control an A-side and Middle with a part of Short-position for both teams.
"The Jungle/The Window" is also compatible. It won't be difficult for 1 or 2 players to control almost all positions on A-side and Mid with the ability to rebuild. A-side is suitable for more variable tactics, using a different type of weapon and a well-thought-out strategy like for Terrorists and CT-side players.
"The Middle" position – the center of the map. This location has an entrance on both plants, with the ability to change it immediately, if it's needed. Team who controls it increases their chance to win the round.
The "Window" position – is the greatest place for middle control. Usually used by AWP players. Grenades like Smokes and Flashes are important in this territory and can counter this position.
The "Short" – is one of the ways to enter the B-side. Grenades pack makes it easy to rush B-plant and take it quickly. "Short" has a good rotation possibility for both sides, so players must not forget about it.
The "Underground" location is a transition between B-side Apps and Mid. Good location to rotate and change strategy for T-side players but vulnerable to a split push. Short distance and closed space, it is the best place to use Molotov and Fire Grenades.
The "Connector" – position is commonly used by CT due to good visibility on mid, short, and A-side. Perfect location to control underground and lower part of mid. But it has not much space, and you can be easily cut off by Smokes and Fires.

"B-side" – good way to make a fust rush through the "Apps (Apartments)" or "Short" to the Bomb Spot. Flashes are essential to make a sudden offensive and plant bombs. But you must be careful with several positions such as "Car", "Kitchen", "Bench", "Short" and "B-Spot".
"Car" – is mostly used by AWP or SMG/Aug players. Owing to long distances, you can easily control "Apps", but you should be wary of Terrorists with their quick breakthrough. A few grenades can easily counter you.
"Kitchen" – is also suitable for AWP players. This location is more secure than "Car", has two exits, good chances to survive, and perfect visibility of almost the whole side.
"Short" – perfect position for reloading. Smokes are helpful here. Despite of vulnerable to the center, it is always the fastest way to rotate on another plant.
So, Mirage is the map with many different capabilities for both sides. Whoever knows this map has a significant advantage. The rate of the game can be based on the aggression of the T-players, making it easy for Ct's versatility throughout buy rounds. This map requires a good knowledge of rotations and position control. Mirage, as a classic CSGO location, is irreplaceable for most players. They invent unique tactics and strategies every update, so you must go up-to-date with them. Because the correct map knowledge - is the key to success.
