CS:GO has been around for 20 years, and over those 20 years, a lot of stories have accumulated. Some of these stories can rightfully call themselves legendary. Today we will start a column of legendary stories, and start with a story about graffiti. Surely, playing on different maps you often noticed graffiti. I'm sure you even heard some stories about them, but I think you won't mind if we once again plunge into the atmosphere of those days.

Overpass

Plant B, ESL One Cologne 2014 semifinals, twenty-ninth round score 14:14. The terrorists place a bomb on B-plant and then throw a fire grenade into the captivity, so that it cannot be detonated. Olofmeister begins to clear the bomb, he had enough time to successfully defuse the bomb, but Olof died just a millisecond later. As a result, on the Overpass, the developers added graffiti reminding us of this moment. But this is not the only reference to Olofmeister on this map.

Dreamhack winter 2014 quarterfinals

City spawn, the sign recalls a scandalous incident in which the hero was again Olofmeister. Team Ldlc against Fnatic, the second managed to take only three rounds. Changing sides Fnatic for the SWAT team also lost the first round, and after that, one step away from being thrown out of the tournament the Swedes have gone to extreme measures, they used their secret weapon - a boost tool that nobody has ever seen before. This way they were able to win all the rest of the rounds and took the score to 16-13. The French requested a replay, and the organizers agreed, but Fnatic refused to participate and withdrew from the tournament. As a memento, Olofmeister received a lot of hate and a memorial sign, that said in German: Climbing over the railing is forbidden.

ESL One Cologne 2016 semifinals

S1mple stayed against Team Liquid in the 1v2 situation. Alexander came out on the nine, then heard the opponent underneath him, jumped down, took a player in the jump with a no-zoom, and then just like that he took Freddy Johansson with a no-zoom too.

Plant B Mirage

MLG Major Columbus 2016 semifinals. Coldzera with an AWP is waiting for opponents on point b and for good reason. After all, Team Liquid decided to go out exactly on scope Zero. After this exit, the player earned a memorable graffiti - killing four opponents with three shots and he made a double kill in the jump.

Dust 2

ESL One Cologne 2015 Grand Final. Fnatic - Luminosity Gaming. The match dragged on until overtime, at the score of 17:15 the Swedes decided to surprise their opponent and bought four Awp`s. Despite not benefiting much from this strategy, it was deemed unconventional. The spectators and commentators were extremely surprised by what Fnatic did in the grand final, and praised the Swedes for their unorthodox thinking. Unfortunately, there is no graffiti in the new version of Dust 2.

Plant A Inferno

Grand Final Krakow 2017. In the eleventh round of the grand final of the major tournament. Team Gambit decided to screw up the economy of their opponents. Dosia was left alone against three Immortals players and a supplied bomb. Although he couldn't take the round, he realized that someone might be trying to stay in the pit. Mikhail read his opponents and decided to end them, throwing a grenade into the corner where two of the Immortals were hiding from the bomb blast.

Leaving his opponents 43, 48 hp - Dosia retreated, and a couple of seconds later the bomb went off, leaving the players with much less health than they were supposed to have. As a result, only one of the three opponents survived, and a clever grenade helped inflict great damage on their economy. After that, the developers added a poster depicting spirits in the form of a grenade. The inscription on the poster translates as -about 1, 2 - no, you cannot escape now, and the rest is indecipherable.
