Ticket sales for The Lima Major 2023 Dota 2 started on January 13. The first batch sold out in nine minutes. This was announced by one of the organizers of the tournament on Twitter.
Not all fans were able to purchase tickets. Due to the huge number of applicants, a queue formed on the site. At some point, it reached 20 thousand people. One of the SA fans texted in the post comments that the tickets were sold out after 2 min. The host site queued her at 300 place; when she got there, it was already sold out.
The organizers reassured the fans and clarified that the second batch of tickets will go on sale on January 20. Whether the site will increase capacity that day is unknown.
