FireLeague orgs announced a new challenge in Argentina

The second half of 2023 will see these two occasions. Prior to it, in March, the organization's academy league was played. In the LAN championship game, held in Buenos Aires, FURIA Academy defeated paiN Academy 2-1.

Since overseeing the academy league final in March, FiRe will make a LAN appearance with FiReLEAGUE Battle. Tickets are already available for the one-day event on July 8 at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, which has a capacity of 10,000+.

The FiReLEAGUE Argentina grand final, which will award a berth at the Global Finals to one of the local teams, will serve as the event's undercard. Imperial, an invited team, and 9z, the 2021 and 2022 winners of FiReLEAGUE Argentina, will then square off in a ferocious regional matchup.

The route to the FiReLEAGUE Global Finals, where three invited teams in paiN, Imperial, and 9z are waiting for the five remaining participants, will then begin with three qualifiers spanning from July to September in Brazil, North America, and Europe. The aforementioned FiReLEAGUE Argentina winners will get one slot, and there is still one more invitation to be distributed.

The renowned Camp Nou stadium, home to FC Barcelona, hosted the 2022 edition of the Global Finals in the Catalan city. In those days, Spirit won the championship after defeating paiN 2-1 in the championship game.

The site of this year's Global Finals, which are scheduled for October 11–15, has not yet been determined, but according to the organization of the competition, they are anticipated to be conducted once again at a famous spot in Barcelona, this time without a crowd and with all attention on the broadcast show.

Earlier Team Vitality got Rio Major 2023 champion's cup. It is the conclusion of IEM Rio 2023. At the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro from April 17 to 23, sixteen competitors from the CIS, Europe, Asia, and Latin America battled it out for a chance to attend IEM Cologne 2023 and a prize pool of $250,000. Vitality won the competition after defeating Heroic in the championship match 2-0 (16:13 for Vertigo; 16:12 for Inferno).
