Former professional CS:GO player Jake "Stewie2k" Yip has spoken out about his departure from Evil Geniuses. During a personal broadcast on Twitch, the esportsman shared his opinion on an article on the HLTV.org website that talked about his career. Moments from Yip's stream were published by Danish "Nohte" Allana on Twitter.

Honestly, I don't give a shit about the Evil Genuises CS:GO roster. Joining EG was a mistake. Teaming up with a coach I never believed in Malek], it was also a mistake. I just had to do it, because there were no other options.

Stewie2k left the Evil Geniuses starting roster in July. During his career, the esportsman earned more than $1.7 million. As part of Cloud9, Yip became the champion of ELEAGUE Major 2018.
