On January 22, MOUZ had announced siuhy’s removal from their starting lineup, attributing the decision to “differing visions for the team’s direction”. In the aftermath, Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin took over as the team’s permanent in-game leader, while Lotan "Spinx" Giladi was brought in from Vitality to fill the vacant roster spot.
siuhy’s removal came as a major shock to fans, given his reputation as a top-tier in-game leader. After rejoining MOUZ in July 2023 following an impressive stint with GamerLegion, he quickly solidified himself as one of the most promising captains in the scene. Now, with his potential move to Liquid, fans are eager to see him back in action.
To make room for the change, Justin "jks" Savage is likely stepping back, while Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken will hand over the IGL role just eight months after taking it on.
With the Polish player joining the roster, Liquid will be hoping to turn their tournament struggles around. Their recent performances have been underwhelming, including a quarterfinal exit at ESL Pro League Season 21, where they finished 5th-8th after a 0-2 loss to Vitality. In the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025: Closed Qualifier, they failed to make any impact, bowing out in the 9th-16th bracket.
Most recently, they suffered another early exit at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025, where The MongolZ eliminated them in the Group B lower semi-finals, forcing them to finish in the 9th-12th spot.
Liquid is hoping to wrap up the deal in time for PGL Bucharest, which begins on April 6. This means that we could be seeing siuhy in a Liquid jersey very soon. Even with the roster shake-up, Liquid’s status for the BLAST.tv Austin Major remains secure, as they’re still locked in for a direct invite to Stage 3 thanks to their No.1 spot in the Americas standings.
If everything ends up falling into place in the end, here’s what Liquid’s new lineup will look like:
