Shox to miss CS:GO Major for the first time in his career

French E-sportsman Richard "Shox" Papillon will not play in a CS:GO Major for the first time in his career. His team Apeks failed to qualify for IEM Rio Major 2022: European RMR. Apeks participated in three out of four open qualifiers for the RMR tournament. Twice the team went to the 1/32 finals, and at the last qualifiers, Shox lost to GamerLegion in the 1/16 finals.

It is not known whether Shox will remain with the Apeks or leave the team at the end of the season. IEM Rio Major 2022 will be held from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil. 24 teams will compete for a million dollars. All participants in the championship will be determined through regional RMR tournaments, which are scheduled for September.
