History of SG 553 CS:GO
SG 553 does not exist in real-time. In previous versions of the game, this rifle was similar to the SG 550, but to avoid copyright infringement, Valve deliberately renamed the weapon to Krieg 552. The history of this rifle begins in the 1950s. The predecessors of these weapons were in service with the Swiss army. Soon, the army upgraded this weapon many times, resulting in many modifications to the SG.
History of AUG CS:GO
STEYR began work on weapons in the 1960s, but it only entered service in 1977-1978. AUG is an acronym. It translates from German as "Universal Army Rifle". In CS 1.6, the very first modification of this rifle was introduced. In CS:GO, we already see the STEYR AUG A3. In CS 1.6, this rifle was called the BullPup. Funny name, isn't it? This name refers to the mechanism inside this weapon.
Is SG 553 better than the AUG?
The difference between the AK-47 and the M4A4 is directly proportional to the difference between the AUG and the SG 553. The AUG has such advantages as extended range, high rate of fire, and high burst accuracy. SG also has a faster reload and increased penetration. Despite these advantages, the SG 553 ruins it with one point - a 1-shot kill to the head. SG 553, as an AWP - deals so much damage that it ignores enemy armor.
