However, Ninjas In Pyjamas started to shoot back in the second half of Mirage, a momentum which continued into the second map, Vertigo.

Although they were dealt a bad hand in their opening game, being matched against Natus Vincere, the #1 team in the world, they didn’t go down without stealing 9 rounds off the powerhouse. However, br0 was a substitute for Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz in the first place, which means that br0’s termination means that device will be returning to the team, as Astralis has announced.

The team has had a phenomenal run throughout the tournament, having fortunate matchups but also having the capability to close things out. On November 22nd, 2024, fans watched day one of the Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR B come to an end, with some teams disappointing and other teams uplifting the mood. The German squad, BIG, did the latter as they managed to win both of their best-of-one games against Sashi (13-9) and HEROIC (13-8). Now, they have a chance to make it straight to the Elimination stage if they manage to beat Passion UA the next day, an underdog team that bested Virtus.pro and Spirit while BIG dealt with Sashi and HEROIC.

Although the series started off rough with The MongolZ leading with a 9-3 scoreline on Ancient, MOUZ brought it back, winning 16-14 in overtime. Despite the demotivating loss on map one, The MongolZ kept up the fight on the second map, Nuke, securing a short 7-5 lead in the first half. However, MOUZ was high on confidence and won eight rounds in the second half, closing the game out 13-9, and winning the series.

On January 6th, 2025, SINNERS officially announced their decision to part ways with Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný, as the experienced Czech player has been transferred to another team, whose name has not yet been disclosed.

On December 21st 2024, BIG announced that they would be parting ways with their Swiss rifler, Rigon "⁠rigoN⁠" Gashi going into 2025 despite being on the team for only six months. While rigoN did have a rough start on the team, it was natural as anyone joining a new time takes time to get used to the dynamic.

On November 28th, 2024, ESIC delivered the final verdict on Astralis’s controversy back in BLAST Premier Fall Final where they were allowed to make an emergency substitution regarding their player Alexander "⁠br0⁠" Bro. However, it was revealed by br0’s agent, Fabian Broich, that the Dane is actually doing fine and is perfectly alright. Despite Fabian’s testimony, BLAST still went through with the decision, leading to an outcry from the community and seven IGLs boycotting media day for that event.
