From the beginning, the recognition of MMORPG China region has been dominant among other regions. As history has shown, Dota 2 did not become exceptional, and Chinese vulnerabilities did not turn out to be stronger among all the others on time exceptions, one has only to remember the absolute hegemony of the probability of occurrence of signs in 2014 and 2016. Almost every year, fans of the Chinese region have one or two teams that almost never go into the skills of other teams from other regions: once they were Vici Gaming, Wings, Newbee, LGD, LGD Forever Young. Each such team had a chance to get the coveted The International Cup - some teams found it, and some, although they didn’t find it, were very close. PSG.LGD is a team that stands out for a very high level of play and makes fans fall in love with its unmistakable game at speeds, but so far, all of them are ahead in the last three years of performances in vain.
Xtreme Gaming – the strongest team in LCQ right now?

Today we will not talk about PSG.LGD, but about those behind them and, as you guessed from the name of this Xtreme Gaming team. There is a lot of talk about finding a TI win back in China, where it's been so long awaited. At TI11, there will already be fighters from three teams from China. In addition to PSG.LGD, Team Aster also received an invitation, and RNG, in a fair fight, got a ticket to the qualifiers, winning Xtreme Gaming in the final, sending them and Vici Gaming to LC Qualifiers.

Who is Xtreme Gaming?

Xtreme Gaming – the strongest team in LCQ right now?

The first Xtreme Gaming roster was assembled in early 2021 to participate in the Dota 2 DPC season. At that time, the team consisted of a stack of little-known Chinese gamers. After changing several performers and a couple of reshuffles, the club was able to attract the previously notorious and no less experienced Zhang Paparazzi Chengjun, Ren Old eleven Yangwei, and also completed Ding Dy Cong, Xiong Pyw Jiahan, Lou lou Zhen.

This line-up was destined to be successful and become, if not the strongest, then at least one of the most powerful teams from the Chinese region. Based on the results of the current season, which is coming to an end, the performance of this club cannot be called successful: Xtreme Gaming did not play at any international LAN tournament this year, and all of their tournaments were Tier 2-3 levels and mostly between the same Chinese teams.

What is the situation now?

Can’t say for sure that this team is unstable, bad, or vice versa good - there are very few games at a high level. I repeat, we only saw their performance at the regional qualifiers, where we can say that they showed an interesting game and deservedly got another chance to get to TI.

Simply put, this team is a mystery or the dark horse of these qualifiers. Although everyone has long put them in the status of favorites on a par with Team Secret, although we all understand that this is due to the level of the teams that got there. Frankly speaking, literally 6 strongest teams from Eastern and Western Europe and, in fact, China, will compete for 2 trips. It would not be presumptuous to say that here the Xtreme team really looks on par with others, and even surpasses some.

What happens if Xtreme Gaming gets on TI?

Xtreme Gaming – the strongest team in LCQ right now?

Nobody knows. Lack of experience in playing at major tournaments, here mental unpreparedness can play a role and let the team down at the most crucial moment, given the fact that young carry lou has no such experience of performing on the professional stage at all.

Answering the question from the title of this article, we can boldly answer that the command Xtreme Gaming is not the top 1 in China right now, and not even the top 2, most likely not even the top 3, because the same Royal Never Give Up is breathing down the backs of the guys from Team Aster. China should show satisfactory performance at the upcoming tournament, but whether it will be from the Xtreme Gaming team is a very, very serious question. Root for your favorite team! enjoy the game!

BIG successfully qualified for the IEM Rio Major: tabseN interview
BIG's campaign at the IEM Road to Rio Europe RMR began well enough, wins over Sangal and Vitality immediately putting them in the 2-0 advancement pool for a spot at the Major. Tensions began to rise for the German team following back-to-back series losses to ENCE and Heroic though, and it was only once their backs were up against the wall that they managed to push on through, besting K23 in a three-map series to secure a spot in Rio.
