Every year, new players catch spectators' and analysts' attention. It is not uncommon for them to continue their careers successfully and become mature, experienced esportsmen. One of the most promising young AWPERs caught in our AIM, is Denis Deko Zhukov. Well-known players appreciate his playing skills. Tens of thousands of fans follow his games. The problem is only the nature of the young player, which hinders the rapid growth of Deko's potential. Today, we'll discuss his figure in the field of competitive CS:GO.

Npl, s1mple, dev1ce, konf1g, nafany have been the headliners of the news in recent months. All because of scandals, replacements, and reshuffles. However, these people will always be on the hype - this is a kind of showcase for CS:GO discipline. However, there are also exciting characters in CS:GO “underground”. And the brightest of them is Denis Deko Zhukov, 1Win AWPer. Deko is the main representative of "dead inside" generation in CS:GO, he's also a top sniper who has been playing for CIS squad for a year and a half, although he received offers from Tier-1 teams. Why didn't Deko go anywhere? Cyber-sport.io tried to figure out this spooky CS:GO personage.

Who is Deko in CS:GO?

Deko was born on July 10, 2001. Deko has been playing in 1Win for a year and a half - together with Flamie. He was the best player in the squad, although his triumphs have not yet been converted into team ones. 1Win has never made it to RMR and has never taken part in major championships, only winning small tournaments a couple of times. In November, Deko made it to the FPL, streaming the league almost daily until the end of June, when he was kicked. Apparently, because Denis "had little contact" with teammates.

Almost nothing is known about his childhood, but the player says that his first meeting with CS was at 3. He started playing CS:GO in 2016, and a few years later, he thought about starting a professional career. Due to the high individual level of the game, Denis began to be invited to various LAN tournaments. So, confident gameplay against vigorous opponents made many people pay attention to Deko.

What was the first Deko's team?

Thanks to local fame, Denis was invited to the first CS:GO roster. As part of this team, he immediately got into the HLTV rating. That team turned out to be Quantum Bellator Fire. At the beginning of 2020, the organization actively changed the roster, hoping to find the optimal five players. The opportunity to show their skills allowed Deko, who was taken for a test period at the end of April.

A week after signing the contract, the team won the closed qualifier for the fifth season of the Qiwi Teamplay tournament. Such a victory did not go unnoticed by the coaching staff, and Deko became a full-fledged team member. In this status, he spent several qualifying qualifiers for various tournaments. At the end of July, the team went to Qiwi Teamplay, but the team was disbanded right during the QBFire tournament. As a result, the players suffered two defeats in the group stage and left the tournament.

After leaving the first team, Deko continued to train and received a new invitation to the Extremum eSports club. The management did not like the poor results, and the squad was disbanded. Free time Denis decided to spend appropriately. In December, he received an invitation to the 1Win team. With this team, he immediately qualified for the DELL GAMING 2020 tournament. The tournament was a success. The team reached the semi-finals, and Denis got into the top 4 best players of the tournament.

This event took place in January 2021. Deko signed an entire contract with 1Win. The team set a goal to get into the top 30 teams of the HLTV rating. The team actively began to participate in all tournaments. The task was completed after eight months. By that time, the team was firmly entrenched in the T2 league.

In November 2021, Denis became the best player in FPL and made it to the main league on the first try. During games, he is not shy about saying whatever he thinks to his allies. Such aggressive behavior will still show its defects in the game in the FPL. Poor communication and emotionality with the player caused him to be expelled from the FPL. After that, he was expelled from FPL.

Now Deco took a vacation. The player plans to move to a new apartment and return with renewed vigor. Obviously, Deko's main problem is emotions. If he learns to control them, his career could be greatly boosted. According to the latest rumors, Deko is going to part ways with 1Win. Do you expect Deko in one of Tier-1 collectives?
