Astralis CEO Anders Horsholt spoke about the opening of the women's division:
We see the impact of our Brazilian FIFA roster member Teca as an ambassador for women's esports in her home country and understand that representation is very important for positive change in this direction. Now we want to go all out with our name and brand in Counter-Strike.
Astralis female roster will perform in the European division of the second season of ESL Impact - the team qualified for the championship through open qualifiers. At the tournament, eight teams will play for $9,000 and a ticket to the international final with a prize pool of $123,000, which will be held in November 2022 at LAN in Jönköping, Sweden.
